Welcome to Centrists for Sanders.
This is a simple website made by a supporter of Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination for the presidency of the United States. My view is that there is a pretty substantial gap in political discourse about Sanders -- there don't seem to be many people who identify as moderates or centrists who are openly supporting Sanders and explaining why, nor do leftist supporters articulate in much detail why Sanders should also appeal to non-leftists. Instead, the support for Sanders is strongest and most visible among enthusiastic leftists, and these supporters are at increasing risk, in my opinion, of only talking to each other. This is especially true on a platform like Twitter, where it is difficult to share and discuss ideas in detail and with an open mind.
If Sanders supporters paid more attention to the ideological diversity within the campaign -- in addition to the beautiful diversity of support that Sanders enjoys across genders, different races, ages, income levels, and geographic regions -- then they'd be better equipped to expand their coalition and recruit allies in the House and Senate.
These allies will be absolutely necessary if Sanders is to succeed in bringing about the revolution he calls for.
